Air force, Soldiers Kill Six Fulani’s, 372 Cows In Nasarawa South, Says Miyetti Allah Laments

The Nasarawa State Chairman of Miyyeti Allah, Fulani socio- cultural Association, Muhammed Hussaini has confirmed the  killings of Six fulani herders in an air raid by Nigeria Air Force  and Soldiers in Keana Local Government of the State. Miyetti Allah further revealed that 376 cows were also killed including burning of settlements of pastoralists; the Chairman confided that 127 cows were killed in Keana while 200 cows were killed in an air raid Akpanaja community of Doma Local Government respectively.

“Soldiers are acting on a script handed over to them by their informants” Cautioning security agents to operate according to the rules of engagement.

He described the use of maximum force by the Government at the centre as a plan to cleanse nomadic pastoralists from the soil of Nasarawa State.

Fulani are peace loving people, and what we want is for the security agents to do the needful by apprehending those fomenting troubles but not killing of innocent Fulani’s as if Nigerian nation is at war.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Supretendent, Ismael Uthman could not be reached for confirmation over the killings of Six herders, 372 cows by military in Keana and Doma respectively.
