Ahead Of The Appeal Court Verdict On Imo Guber: APC Resolves That Sen.Uzodinma Is Now Party’s  Leader

Last Sat.Nov.9th 2019 at the APC Party Secretariat along Owerri/Okigwe Road Owerri, the Imo APC members and leaders held a very critical party stakeholder meeting ahead of the forthcoming Imo Guber Appeal Court Judgement.

 

At the meeting, stakeholders of the party, they, therefore, resolved that the Imo APC Guber Candidate, Sen.Hope Odidika Uzodinma, remain s the authentic apex leader of the party in Imo State, even as they, however, expressed optimism that their candidate would be victorious at the Court of Appeal verdict.

 

The Party Chairman of Imo APC, Chief Sir. Marcellinus Nlemigbo, in his remarks, stated that APC has come to stay, and more so thanked God for giving the party victory at the recent Appeal Court judgment that brought victory to the APC Candidate for Ehime Mbano State Constituency member-elect, Hon. Chukwuemeka Anthony Nduka,who won at the court.

 

Chief Nlemigbo, while speaking congratulated Hon. Nduka, for his emergence as the House Member-Elect for Ehime Mbano.

 

He described his victory as a true appeal upheld by the judiciary, which he described as the last hope of the common man.

 

The Imo APC Chairman, Nlemigbo, expressed hopefulness that Sen.Uzodinma would also cruise home victoriously aftermath of the forthcoming Imo Guber Appeal Court judgment,but called on the party members and Imolites to calm, peaceful and focus.

 

Adding his voice, the Ehime Mbano IMHA member-elect, Hon. Chukwuemeka Nduka, thanked God, his lawyers, the judges and the judiciary for answering his appeal to announce him the winner of the last general polls held in his constituency, even as he described his Appeal Court Verdict as the truest judgment and the right verdict for the interest of democracy.

 

“I have come to replace Hon. Lawman Duruji, of Imo AA, whose results from INEC was given on error. He did not win the election in Ehime Mbano. He was seated on a stolen mandate of the people but thank God for the true judgment of the rightful owner of the mandate of the people. The judiciary has indeed shown that remains the last hope of the ordinary man”, Member-elect submitted.

 

He promised to offer effective representation at the Imo State House of Assembly but dedicated his Court of Appeal Judgement to God and the Ehime Mbano people.

 

” My victory at the court was a shock to me. Appeal Court in Owerri allowed justice to reign. It was peoples oriented judgment for Ehime Mbano, Imo APC and the entire Imo people. I am the only APC candidate in the IMHA for now. My election results were omitted during the last elections in the Imo State but the Appeal Court has proven the right verdict”, Hon. Nduka submitted.

 

The Member-Elect, Nduka, extolled the political and leadership capacity, goodwill and connection of Sen.Hope Uzodinma, whom he described as the authentic apex leader of Imo APC.

 

Nduka, therefore expressed optimistic that the soon coming Imo Guber Appeal Court hearing and its judgment shall favour the APC Candidate in the last gubernatorial polls.

 

The Imo APC stakeholders at the meeting collectively passed a decree of resolution that Sen.Uzodinma remains the apex leader of Imo APC.

 

Also, another resolution passed was the unanimous funding agreement and reconciliation of all the aggrieved party members.
