The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Aliyu Tijani has debunked the rumor making round that the state Government has withdrew the mobile clinics (hospital on wheels) attached to the people of Odeni Magaji and its environs in Nasarawa Local Government of the state.

The cabinet member described the grapevine pelted as mere statement meant to derailed the image of the state Government, Tijani gave the hint during a press briefing reacting on the rumor and accusing fingers by Fulani herdsmen over an attack on Fulani pastoralist ,an attack that lead to the death of eighty three (83) heads of cattle.

The commissioner also refuted the claimed made that no aid comes from the state Government to people of the crisis stricken communities of Nasarawa Local Government, Aliyu Tijani described the clue as untrue, saying attention has been given to the Internally Displaced Persons in the area.

Tijani refuted the rumor making round that no effort was made by the Government to curtail the crisis in and around Nasarawa Local Government “saying the state Government has done a lot.

“People at the crisis stricken zone are witness to the contributions of the state Government, I don’t know what you mean or do people want the Governor remove his shirt and start fighting? Relief materials are also provided to Internally Displaced Person, the Governor deserved commendation.

Speaking on the exigencies lingering in the ruling All Progressives Congress ahead of Toto/Nasarawa federal constituency election scheduled for the 28/06/2016 , Hon.Aliyu Tijani buttressed that there is no internal rumpus rocking the party.

He gave assurance that the APC will clinch the 28/05/2016 Toto/Nasarawa federal constituency election.
