Again Education Secretary Ekye Decries Sharp Decline In Number Of Teachers

The Education Secretary of Doma South, The headquarter of Ekye Administrative Area has again decried the sharp decline of number of primary school teachers which he attributed to change of service, death and retirement.

He gave the hint shortly before the official commissioning of an office accomodations located inside RCM Primary school, Agbashi.

He however appealed to the State Government to adopt an in-house arrangement obtainable in those days was the replacement of death staff.

Saying primary schools has a total of over 400 staff including administrative staff.

The Education Secretary confirmed that no primary school in Ekye has a total of twelve teachers apart from Roman Catholic Church trains school, Agbashi.

“if truelly we want to Proffers Solution to the challenges of the cradle of education, Our big men should imbibe the spirit of taking their children to public schools, If that is done, All the challenges would be over , and if we the big men within us took their children to private schools that problem of teachers deficit will remain with such”.

Also speaking, The Director of Finance and Administration of Ekye Administrative Area Education Authority in his remarks, eulogies the Education Secretary, Mr. Donald Epoh as a true leader.

Adding that the salary of some teachers who are in the habit of playing hide and seek in the place of work.

Mr. Francis Inusa Akwe appreciate the leadership style of the Education Secretary, Adding that the E. S was able to change the narrative.

According to him, “The Education Secretary used to organize intermittent meeting, Saying he will continue to shower his unalloyed support to the E. S come rain and sun shine.

The new Chairperson of the Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Hajiya Hashiya Ahmed in her speech emphasize the important of punctuality amongst staff of the board.

“Every staff is expected to be at their duty post on time and all Directors must ensure that their subordinates stay within their designated responsibilities. No one should overstep their boundaries or interfere in matters outside their jurisdiction”.

“A disciplined and orderly system will foster a more productive and harmonious working environment”.

Acting Executive Chairperson Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, While addressing the Management and Staff of the Board, on the journey of transformation said she would not condone ineptitude amongst teachers in schools.
