Ag. General Manager Water Board Stella Harps On Improve Supply Of Drinking Water

The Ag. General Manager Jos Water Supply Cooperation, JWSC, Stella  Buge has assured residents of the Plateau State capital of improvement in the distribution of the water sector and quality drinking water throughout in 2023 /2024 fiscal year .

She made known to journalists at the Yakubu Gowon State secretariat and was represented by Mr Alex Luthel the Assistant Manager of Quality Assurance in Jos.

She said, they have successfully defended the 2023 budget, which is the performance that was adequately be affected by the Nigeria  Labour  Congress , NLC, and the industrial strike that crippled all sectors of the state .

According to her, the management has taken measures towards improving the supply of drinking water to people, especially in areas where pipelines were affected by the ongoing road construction in the state.

Buge emphasized that they are prepared to reach out to communities where they would witness great change through the world bank intervention projects.

We shall be working in conjunction with other foreign agencies through their intervention program although some of the British American Junction pipelines that distribute water were exhumed and we are putting all damaged pipes in place to function.

She appealed to citizens to exercise trust and believe in the Mutfwang government, which is going to better the state water sector and this can be achieved with budget clearance.

Stella Buge stated that the water board management remains committed to the healthcare sector through improved sanitation and the environmental sector.
