Three members of the state house who received the arrow of suspension includes:” Hon. Obinna Okwara, representing Nkwerre,

Hon. Ngozi Obiefule, representing Isu and Hon. Arthur Egwim, representing Ideato-North, whereas the seat of the lawmaker representing Ngor-Okpala, Hon. Tochi Okere, was angrily declared vacant by the Speaker.

Their suspension commence on Thursday, Dec.23rd 2021 with immediate effect as signed by the Speaker of the house, Rt.Hon.Barr.Kennedy Ibeh.

Note that some other reason given was that when “Governor Uzodinma presented the 2022 budget, all the members the 9th House promised to give it an accelerated hearing but surprisingly, those affected lawmakers obviously ignored to participate in the sitting and the speaker was angry with their action, therefore they were suspended.”
