Afenifere Leader, Pa .Ayo Adebanjo Urges President Tinubu To Set Up An Inquiry Into Lists Of Terrorists Agenda In Nigeria

The National President of Afenifere socio-Cultural Pressure Group Worldwide, Pa Ayo Adebanjo has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to revisit the lists of terrorist groups of Boko Haram and conduct an inquiry into the alleged fulanization agenda of the northern oligarchs’ policy of killings of the minority tribes.

The leader of the Afenifere Socio-Cultural from Southwest Nigeria, Pa Ayo Adebanjo was in Late Solomon Daushep Lar resident to rekindle an old-time friendship between the middle belt and Southwest people’s struggle in Jos.

He said the movement of the Afenifere and middle belt started before the independence to help unite the Yoruba the minority tribes and remove them from the fulanization agenda of the North. We enjoyed a mutual relationship with the middle belt especially the likes of Solomon Daushep Lar, Joseph S. Takar, and Awolowo all of blessed memory and this struggle has been going on in Nigeria.

According to him, the minority tribes came together to form a progressive forum here in Jos to give birth to a new Nigeria about 75 years ago for the freedom of minority tribes across the geopolitical zones.

Pa  Adebanjo stated that one of the evils they’re fighting underground is the new reform Constitution and the then Action Group,(AG), the Afenifere Yoruba land paid a condolence visit to Lar’s wife, Prof. Mary Lar to comfort her and her family.

He stated further that if people in authority don’t change there won’t be progress, we brought this reunion between the struggle for the liberation of the Yoruba and the middle belt had a history of cordial relationship which is the case reason for the private visit to the family of late Solomon Daushep Lar to support the people of Plateau State to show them that whatever they’re experiencing is not new to us. Governors of the Southwest responded when it started during President Muhammadu Buhari’s Government, so we are encouraging you in the middle belt to all stand together and be united.

Pa Adebanjo stressed that the minority tribes in Nigeria had suffered injustice so the visit of the Afenifere Socio-Cultural has reawakened past relationships because the Afenifere work in principle.

He thanked Mrs. Lar for the reception by calling on people of the middle belt to learn lessons from what the late Solomon Daushep Lar did,  “we urge you to be doing good while alive,  if it was somebody from North in my visit I would come and go quietly because I’m saying that it is not easy to leave a good name, It is not easy to be subjected to all manner of harassment and intimidation we all went through that and we have prayed to God Almighty to save Nigeria.”

“Solomon Daushep Lar is dead but his legacy will continue and what brought us to a selfish agenda is that our oppressors want to take us back those harrowing signs of leadership, he said.

“We need to go back to the cause during the 1960, we don’t have problems of insecurity like now, it is difficult to step into Nigeria and join strong blocks and we must come together to support the government of Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the support work governors fight insecurity.

Pa Adebanjo commended the Supreme Court for restoring confidence in our democracy, adding that when they were younger the Fulani herdsmen carried cows, they were not carrying AK47 raffle but today they destroyed the citizens that we are supposed to protect.

He disclosed that the enemies of the middle belt people were inside them because of what happened to Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue state, others were watching and he wrote the names of those marauding and took it to Muhammadu Buhari but he ignored the list.

Pa Ayo Adebanjo lambasted middle belt politicians that they want to allow the country to be fulanized, I don’t agree with that,  we can’t accept, we allow everyone to rule his people that is why are agitating for the creation of more states.

According to him,” Awolowo took minority from the North East and set a commission of inquiry that the struggle to end killings of the minority tribes and even list of those behind Boko Haram was submitted to Buhari but he ignored it.

He said, he once challenged the Buhari Government that he knows those who are those who are killing us, so we are challenging Bola Ahmed Tinubu to bring a list of people in the Buhari cabinet and implement them.

According to Pa Ayo Adebanjo he said to Tinubu, “People have continued with the struggle and Buhari failed to arrest them, no action, no continuity, no set of up Commission inquiry, find the record and stop paying lips service to the document.”

Also a former Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Chairman, Barr.Danjuma Rimdap while speaking expressed satisfaction with the visit to the family of the first civilian Governor of Plateau State Chief Solomon Daushep Lar of blessed memory.

He said the entire Plateau people are delighted to see the likes of Pa Ayo Adebanjo here in Plateau, we have renewed wonderful touch from a statesman.

He assured us that the visit is one of landmark history as “we welcome you to Jos sir the associate of late Solomon Daushep Lar to commensurate with the state over the unfortunate massacre and attacks on innocent people.”
