Advocacy For Democracy And Good Governance Doma Forum,a socio- political Association has called for unity and togetherness amongst those in power.

 

The Chairman of the Group,Ibrahim Adi who described peace as a catalyst for even and rapid development of every nation expressed concern over the sour relationship especially among the elites in Doma community.

 

He gave the indication when members of AFDAGGDF paid a familiarization visit to the Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission, Hon. Henry John Omaku at Democracy House along Shendam road, Lafia and Louis  Ogah who was appointed recently by the State Governor Engr.Abdullahi Alhaji.Sule as th the Acting Deputy Rector, Administration, of the Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia.

 

The Chairman said the Association would continue to accord support to the Government of Nasarawa State at all times.

 

“What we are doing as a group is to revert back to the old good days when Doma is a deciding factor when it comes to election which some people called it Doma vote”.

 

Calling on sons and daughters of Doma to shun political vagaries and condemnation which he said is tantamount to destroyed a community.

 

“Sir you appointment is not only for you but for the entire Doma community”.

 

Ibrahim Adi lauded the State Governor for finding the Acting Deputy Rector worthy of appointment.

 

Loius Ogah while responding thanked the Forum for the visit, urging the executive of AFDGGFD to register him as a member.

 

Expressing delight over the delegation of a mammoth crowd to congratulate him

 

“”For the first time in the history of Doma a large is committed to work as a group”.

 

Saying Doma is one of the fortunate Local Government that produces both military and civilian Governor’s, senator , House of Representatives, Speaker, Chairmen of Boards.

 

He identified disunity as a mirage causing havoc to the massive votes of Doma during election and Sue for peace amongst the people.

 

He advised parents to encourage their wards to take Engineering courses so serious.

 

In a vote of thanks, Simon Emma appreciates the warm welcome by the Acting Deputy Rector, urging members to be proactive in the struggle.

 

In same vain, The Chairman of the State Independent Electoral Commission, Hon.Henry John Omaku lauded the initiators of the Forum, saying he would do every possible best to support the movement.
