With the recent dissolution of Adamawa state PDP officials by the National working committee of the party (NCW) announced by the party publicity secretary Mr Olisa Metuh.
The purported dissolution of former exco is now turning into a new different issue in the state, a stakeholders meeting was called by the Joel Madaki led exco to fashion out ways never to be dissolved as announced by the party apex publicity scribe. The 21 lawmakers of the state has through the majority leader promised to support the Joel Madaki led faction of the PDP leadership in the state.
The Madaki faction seems to be brewing with all sense of animosity to NCW regarding the act is unconstitutional, lack any moral ground to have announced such kind of information to a state like Adamawa that is nursing the fragile peace is trying to sustain.
Chief Joel Madaki in his address to the hundreds of elected delegated and party officials from the 21 LGA,lament that said “It’s because of you we were said to have removed, wanting me to temper with the delegates list, and I am category reminding you today nobody have the right to remove us is only the truth can”.Joel Said
“PDP is a party to the people of Nigeria, a party founded based on principles that are good for Nigeria people.”
Madaki maintained that some of the national leaders are leading with all forms of impunity which was not part of why they are elected.
A former governor of the then Gongola and a PDP stalwart in the state,Ambassador Wilberforce Juta in his own words of solidarity of the Joel faction of the party said” my message back to the people in Abuja is that; PDP is founded in a true democracy and the regents of democracy must be adhered to so PDP is a nobody’s party and it cannot be manipulated by anyone” Juta said
“It’s our party, it’s a party belongs to Nigerians” he added
Party crisis in Adamawa state is never a new thing, during Former governor Nyako the Kugama and Joel Madaki faction of the then PDP had a serious internal crisis after Damagun conducted a congress and later hang over to Chief Joel Madaki, the aftermath of the congress sent Nyako and all his numerous loyalist to APC.Would one say history is repeating itself? If yes,  will the like of Joel decamp to APC? If still the answer is no will he be comfortable in the present PDP?
