The internally crisis rocking the Adamawa state chapter of People’s Democracy Party  is worsening, seriously  that if care is not taken it will  probably  escalate to the extent that will see party members defecting to other parties this  as the state political bigwigs with all the aspirants converged in the party’s secretariat today (Saturday) in Yola  to register their grievances on the suspension of former chairman of PDP Alhaji Bamanga Tukur,  and to also reject the idea of the state Party primaries to be conducted in Abuja.
The chairman of the stakeholders committee Prof. Andrawus Sawa who signed the communiqué issued to the members of press stated their stand on what they termed the unwelcome agendas purported carried out by “Abuja politicians” to the people of Adamawa state. They condemned the suspension of Bamanga Tukur for whatever reasons that a fair hearing was not given to him before the suspension
“The communique said it should be noted that Alh. Bamanga Tukur as a founding father of the party, a member of Board of Trustees and the immediate past National Chairman of PDP deserves greater respect than he has been shown by the national working committee.
The state holders said that the purported suspension of Alh. Bamanga Tukur without fear hearing should be regarded as null, void and of no effect whatsoever.”
In the communiqué read by Sawa  clearly showed that the Joel Madaki led faction of the state PDP executive which has the over whelming majority and supporters are ready to shun the forthcoming national convention of the party if their demands are not met.
“We the stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State want to categorically say that the party’s National Convention in which President Goodluck Jonathan fate will be determined for 2015 Presidential election will not witness our presence if Mr President fail to checkmate wanton abuse of office by the national chairman of the party.
Some of the gubernatorial aspirants like Awwal Tukur, Senator Abubakar Halilu Girei, Dr. Ahmed Moddibo and others personalities such as Wilberforce Juta, Air Commander Dan Suleiman,   said that unavoidable doom is awaiting the ruling party ahead of 2015, general election if president Goodluck Jonathan the national leader of the party fail to checkmate the undemocratic way the national chairman of the party Alh. Adamu Muazu is handling its affair.
The communiqué called on president Goodluck who is the National leader of the party to call Mua’zu and his collaborators who want to impose candidate on them to order and distance himself from their reign of impunity which  will adversely affect the electoral fortunes of the party.
The stakeholders of the party said that none of its members will obey the directive given by the national working committee of the party that the party primaries has been shifted to Abuja based on allegations raised against governor Bala James Ngilari by the Chairman Of State House Of Assembly Electoral Committee.
The communiqué said that in accordance with page 6,7and 8 of the PDP Electoral Guideline for Primary Election  2014,approved by NEC, all Primary Elections shall be held in the respective constituencies” The Adamawa state PDP any illegal primary Election outside the approved constituencies as planned by the renegade PDP members and their cohorts in Abuja”
The stakeholders of the party refuted the allegation that Governor Nggilari and the party executive held the committee hostage.
The communiqué explained that what happened was that the chairman of House of Assembly Primary’s Electoral panel Mr. Tim Ihemadu came with doctored delegate list from Abuja, which had over 300 fakes’ names of delegates.
The stakeholders said that Ikemadu insisted that the list he brought should be adopted  and this was rejected out rightly by PDP Adamawa State until finally the election was held and duly documented on video with the authentic list.
They however condemned in totally one month suspension slammed on the former chairman of the party Alh. Bamanga Tukur without recourse to the Adamawa State chapter of the party.
The party leaders also strongly condemned the undue interference of Ambassador Hassan Tukur, a public servant and Principal Secretary to Mr President for continuously instigating the PDP National Chairman Alh. Adamu Mua’zu to destabilize PDP in the state.

They explained that the lack of recognition of H. E Barrister Bala Ngilari as the leader of the party by the National Working Committee is unjust and unfair to the party and its stakeholder
