Adamawa-HAFor the likes of Honourable Mohaammed Hayatu Atiku, popularly known as Yellow, while his colleagues in other states legislatures are busy planning on how they will deliver their promises to their constituents, the said Hon. Atiku alias Yellow barely a month that he took oath of office, he is already enmeshed in money scandal.

Information available to this medium indicates that the lawmaker, who represents Uba/Gaya constituency, of Hong Local Government is at the moment pillaging with funds made for Ramadan gifts.

According to a close source, the lawmaker who is currently the House Committee Chairman on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has a pending court case of an alleged certificate forgery.

The source told universalreporters247.com that the lawmaker was alleged to have forged his degree certificate.

Meanwhile investigation by this medium indicates that there is already a fraud hanging on his neck. The source told this medium that the said Mohammed is indeed fraudulent.

“I can tell you that Mohammed is fraudulent, barely a month in the House he is already involved in fraudulent practises. I can tell you now on behalf of his colleagues he issued a memo to the Ministry of Local Government requesting the Ministry to provide for members with sum of N30 million that will be used for the distribution of Ramadan gifts to their constituents.”

Infact, as it stands, the members are grumbling and threatening to take serious action against him the source said.

According to some members who spoke to this medium, told universalreporters247.com that Hon. Mohammed has diverted the N30 million to his own personal use, that even to their own dismay no any House of Assembly member has benefited from the release fund.

The curious thing that this paper learnt is that he fraudulently used his name to issue the memo, a source told this medium.

Universalreporters247.com also learnt that the same way he dubiously collected the said thirty million naira; he also used the same method to collect 15 seats for Hajj, which this medium learnt he will issue to cronies and friends.

It will be recalled that last month during a flag of road project in Yola, Governor Bindow said he will convince the State House of Assembly to do cut their money by 50%, but it does appear that such request may not yield fruit with this kind of sleaze going barley two months in their legislature work.

All efforts to get to the lawmaker, proved abortive as his lines were switched off as at the time of filling in this report.
