The factional Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) Hon. Shuaibu Yamusa died in Kano after a protracted illness.
The Hamma Bachama, HRH Honest Irmiya confirmed that the party stalwart died as a result of Diabetes and Heart problem that he knows he has been battling with it for a long time.
He died at the earlier hours of Sunday morning and was buried today (Monday) according to the Islamic injunction in Numan.
A delegation from the national party led by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Engr. Babachir David Lawal, National Party officials, the three senators representing the state and all the factional leaders of the party in the state were at Numan the home base of late Yamusa.
The National secretary of the APC, Alh. Mai Malla described the dead of Yamusa as a big loss to the entire country, he described him as someone with a heart of God and who is hardworking and intelligent.
Malla responded that despite the crisis, the party has a way of resolving its crisis, he called on all the party loyalists to pray for the internal rest of the late Chairman.
On her own view the senator representing Adamawa Northern Senatorial zone, Mrs Binta Marsi Garba Tumba, described late Yamusa as a team player and a perfect gentleman, she also lamented that his dead came when he is was really needed to help the mantra change in the state.
She also revealed that investigation is ongoing about her last visit, whereby sponsored thugs disrupted her program in Mubi, saying that sooner or later the culprits will be brought to book.
Yamusa passed on when the party in the state is facing a serious internal disagreement, that was splits it into two. There is a party leadership under late Yamusa shuaibu which is believed to hold the structure of Murtala Nyako while Dimas Simon is believed to be holding Governor Bindow’s structure.
A sharp disagreement was shown today as there was a mild drama between the two factions in Numan at the home of the late Chairman, the entourage of the Governor of the state and the entourage of SGF could not meet to exchange pleasantries as party demand.
