Abdullahi Sule Is A God Sent Governor-Speaker Nasarawa Assembly

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Rt. Honorable Danladi Jatau has described the State Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule as a God-sent Governor.

The Speaker gave the hint during this year’s World Humanitarian Day celebration held the Aliyu Akwe Doma Banquet hall, Jatau averred the State Governor has touched the lives of the less privilege.

Saying serving humanity thought to be the reason for the survival of every human being, The Speaker however buttressed that Engineer Abdullahi Sule deserved a commendation for the upliftment of humanitarian.

The Rt. Honorable Speaker also commended the State Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Aliyu Bello for rendering service to humanity, He also commended the Commissioner of humanitarian Services, Special Duties, and NGOs, Hon. Princess Margaret Itake Elayo for doing a wonderful job.

The State Chairman of the ruling party, Aliyu Bello in his remarks, applauded Engineer Abdullahi Sule for being the first Governor in the country to distribute farm inputs, I introduced Conditional Cash Transfer which was aimed at cushioning the effect of fuel subsidy removal.

The party Chairman added that the subsidy the populace needed now is about us and around Us, Urging the affluent in society to consider the plight of the common man.

“Nigerian Problems Leaves With Us, given instances of the 1965 coup de tat Sardaunan of Sokoto and the 1984 coup of President Shehu Shagari by the then military Head of State, Muhammadu Buhari, which he attributed the cause of the coup to the devaluation of naira over dollars”.

Stating that Cholera disease increases illness in a country, rising waves of cost of healthcare, Water pollution, soil contamination, and loss of biodiversity 

Other ailments also included Polio, Typhoid and dysentery, Cholera, and malnutrition as he sought for adequate sanitation exercises.

He described Cholera as a life-threatening that comes with dehydration, He however averred that a multifaceted approach must take to reduce death.

While given the breakdown of casualties recorded, Chigozie Ehenacho, maintained that in 2022, three persons died while in 2024, no fewer than 5 Local Governments were affected.

The immediate past Vice Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, Professor Suleiman Bala Mohammed, The Guest Speaker from the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru said Nasarawa State has changed for good.

Giving good examples of the agricultural transformation of Engineer Abdullahi Sule like the supply of improved varieties of seedlings, inputs to farmers, and the coming of Olam rice farm, Dangote, Azman, and Flour mills of Nigeria.

Naming all the tertiary institutions owned by the Nasarawa State Government including the Nasarawa State University, Keffi, College of Education, Akwanga, The Isa Mustapha Agwai l, Polytechnic Lafia, College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, Lafia, The College of Health, Science and Technology, Keffi.
