The former Deputy Speaker of Plateau state RT Hon Ibrahim Hassan has applauded the massive turnout of voters in Mangu Local Government Area of the state.
Hon Ibrahim Hassan stated this in an interview with our correspondent in Mangu LGA while monitoring and observing supplementary election across the polling units.
He commended the peaceful conduct of the electorate who came out in enmass to vote for the rescue leader who is waiting to declare
According to him, plateau people have demonstrated their determination to deliver on the mandate to the All Progressive Congress, APC, so we appeal to voters against breakdown of law and order after the victory of the governor.
Baba-Hassan lauded the security personnel for the deployment of security to all the polling units in time to prevent unnecessary tension between political parties supporters.
He maintained that the staff of INEC arrived at the polling units in time with all the sensitive materials which made the accreditation to be faster in Mangu .
Baba-Hassan expressed satisfaction with the level of commitment shown by the party faithful were the turnout of voters was quite impressive looking at the numbers of places visited this morning, I can see that the people are willing to cast their vote .
He congratulated the people of Plateau State for the display of maturity and show of love to our amiable leader Dr Simon Bako Lalong whose performance in the last four call for his reelection.
