(Warrant officer) Tanko  Bulus Barnabas, who was court-martialled by the Nigeria Air Force on account of alleged firearms, training, and absence from post of duty.

In the statement read,” The position of the law is clear on his fundamental right being abused and denied.

” It is time those who apprehended him sit down and think deeply as to why an officer exercising his fundamental right of protecting lives and property.

“Why must his action be twisted, but rather pinned his a noble cause to a painful and agonising one.

“Nigeria, presently headed by His Excellency Bola Ahmed, can do better by looking into the file case of those in detention and giving them a fair trial and discharging them, including our Revd. Tanko “the statement explained.

According to Garba,”Our dear president is a compassionate man and am appealing to his kind consideration to help give urgent medical attention needed and a review of his case.

“When one is faced with a very serious health challenge, it is expected that such needs urgent medical attention”, he said.

For whatever reason(s), he might have been apprehended, and for this long is to say the least unjustified and am

Revd Tanko must not die. He is urgently in need of medical attention, and I am calling on the passionate president to help look into his case, as we are convinced his health condition is getting worse.
