8 Month Old Jusun Strike: Chairman Assured Members Of End To Impasse

Eight months after the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria, Nasarawa State wing, the State Chairman,Jimoh Musa has assured its members that the imbroglio would be resolved within the week.

Musa while addressing members of the Congress at the premises of High Court 4,says the Union held a meeting with the traditional ruler of Lafia,the Dunoma of Lafia, Justice Sidi Bage ! but to no avail.

” JUSUN held a meeting with the Dunoma of Lafia yet the Chief Judge did not reserved the dismissal of our twenty staff.

 

Jimoh Musa expressed dismay over the way and manner the Chief Judge is responding to the strike action.

 

Calling on members to conduct themselves during and after the strike to be law abiding citizens of the State.

 

When asked the reason for the outing, Jimoh Musa said the essence of the gathering was to briefed the Congress on the latest breakthrough for barely two months.

 

“Apart from meeting with the Dunoma of Lafia we also met with Lawyers in the State and they are not faithful to us because they slept over our matter”.

 

“I’m optimistic that the strike would end within the week”.

 

It would be recalled in the last eight months Nasarawa State wing of JUSUN embarked on strike over what they referred to illegal demotion and deduction by the Chief Judge, Justice Suleiman Umar Dikko.

 

The Chief Judge, Suleiman Umar Dikko could not be reached for comment.
