7 Days Ultimatum For Adagunodo To Resign As PDP National Vice Chairman Southwest

A political group The Osun PDP Rescue Group has called on the PDP National Vice Chairman, Hon Soji Adagunodo to resign his position as PDP National Vice Chairman within seven days.

At the emergency meeting of the group held on Monday 27th December 2021 at Charity hotel Osogbo, the group extensively deliberated on the recent happenings in Osun PDP and the chances of the Party winning the forthcoming Governorship election in 2022.

The group frowned at the destructive posture of Hon Adagunodo in his clandestine underneath move in making sure that the PDP lost the governorship election to APC.

“It is our belief that Hon Soji Adagunodo is hell-bent in his avowed determination to scuttle the chance of PDP in the 2022 election

The group reasoned that virtually all crises that have been erupted since PDP left the government in 2010 were caused directly or indirectly by Hon Soji Adagunodo.

In 2014 he was the Chairman of 3 in 1 that was against the candidacy of Sen Iyiola Omisore.

Subsequently, His inconsistency as a State Chairman cost the Party Governorship position in 2018.

He, along with Hon Diran Odeyemi persuaded the then-Sen Ademola Adeleke to contest for Osun Governorship election in total betrayal to the aspirations of the likes of Lere Oyewumi, Prof Durotoye, Rt Hon Adejare Bello, Sen Olasunkanmi Akinlabi, Sen Jumokol among others who has been laboured day and night to sustain the Party even when the Adelekes was in APC. Adagunodo betrayed all of them and went for Sen Adeleke for Governor.

When Adagunodo felt that his interest might not be protected with Adelekes, he again went for Ogunbiyi to contest for governorship election that had already assured the Adelekes of the ticket. The rest is now history as his actions cost us the governorship seat once again.

The group coordinator Mr Franscis Yinka said that if Adagunodo is not resigned or removed as the Southwest Vice Chairman, his usual chameleonic action may likely cost the PDP the governorship seat once again.

“Adagunodo that has been sworn in as National Vice Chairman Southwest is again indirectly fighting for the soul of the Party in the State. Let him resign within  seven days, but if he refused, we will be forced to take a legal means to remove him”

He should come home and continue with all his cases at various courts because Adagunodo is like a Leopard that can never change its spot.

The rescue group said that they awarded that a peace meeting was held at Prince Oyinlola’s Okuku house where a three-point resolution was reached but what we are witnessing now is against the resolution at that peace meeting.

And it is the handiwork of Soji Adagunodo.

Our group is now determined to make sure that Adagunodo will be removed from the Southwest National Vice Chairman.
