4th Anniversary Of Joseph Shaltha Legacy , Harps On Promoting Better Leadership -Dr. Yakubu, Joyce

The Shaltha Emmanuel Leadership initiative foundation is celebrating the 4th anniversary legacy of Joseph Shaltha commitment to a value system, virtue, visions, hard work, and reformation of leadership to, “Take over “the mantle of honesty and transfer it to the next generation.

The spokesman, speaking on how to dialogue on the challenges facing youth restiveness, Dr. Yakubu Usman admonished parents to inculcate moral discipline, hard work, dedication, and the spirit of honesty as one of the panacea to reduce crime and criminality in the present generation.

He advocated that the present loss in morality and diversity problems facing the country involving the young restless youths in Nigeria is caused by poor parenting, negligence in promoting cultural discipline, honesty, and encouraging quick money syndrome in Africa.

Dr Usman stated during the book review in Jos, saying there is hope for the upcoming generation to learn and acquire knowledge that would transform them for better leadership in Nigeria.

He cautioned that parents who always inculcate the spirit of discipline, honesty, transparency, and hard work towards improving the spirit of commitment and punctuating whatever skills they found themselves with their children grew up to respect people.

Dr  Yakubu Usman lamented the challenges of how children imbibe the foreign culture of behavior that is anti-African because the culture teaches the younger youths to respect and honor their parents so that they might achieve success.

He stressed that if we are to hand over a good legacy to the next generations, there is a need for the younger ones to demonstrate a willingness to submit themselves to mentoring and to also imbibe the culture of tolerance in their daily conduct .

Dr Yakubu Usman employed the children to see themselves as the vanguard of change that can use their potential to transform the society for better service delivering towards improving their well-being.

As one of the participants that review the book on Joseph Shaltha, legacy, “Take Over ” with a theme, of holding hands and passing the batten of the leadership to the upcoming generation of leaders,Dr. Yakubu Usman and Joyce Oriade in their separate contributions harp on Joseph Shaltha committed values in improving the lives of children through mentorship.

They all condemned the way and manner these young ones are desperate to acquire wealth they don’t mind the consequences involve some of them decided to go into ritual activities is very sad.

According to Mrs. Joyce, the lack of good parenting and morality had continued to influence the way worthiness is exhibited to our children.

She disclosed that society today is a true reflection of what the family is because there is no society that can exist without the family’s positive contribution of individuals.

Joyce lamented that some parents have abandoned their social responsibility to society so that help in destroying the system.

She emphasized the value system, adding all hope is not lost because we are preparing to supply the vacuum position by ensuring that youth are mentored on how to promote togetherness love and understanding of each other.
