The executive Chairman, Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr Kassim Muhammed Kassim, temporarily stepped aside from his seat and appointed a four-year-old Beneth Joseph Kigbu with the honour and privilege to become a one-day Executive Chairman of the board.
Dr.Kassim cycles said the future of this country belongs to the youths and should be given the courage and necessary support, noting that quality basic education is the pathway to greatness.
He prayed that Beneth Joseph Kigbu would grow up to be a chief executive of a big government agency.
He revealed that the privilege given to the four-year-old Kigbu to administer the board for one day speaks volumes for what he would grow up to be in the future.
The one-day NSUBEB Chairman, Mr. Beneth Joseph Kigbu, commended Dr Kassim led administration at NSUBEB for initiating praiseworthy programmes in just three months of his appointment.
The little Kigbu, however, urged Dr Kassim to pay special attention to pupils learning under harsh circumstances and appeal for more support for primary school teachers by ensuring training and re-training of teachers.
