3 Persons Arraigned In Jos Court Over Threat To Chief Chijoke Life, Properties In Court

A prosecution counsel, Barr O.S.Osho has arraigned Abdul Basit Yusuf and two other suspects before CMC, Court UTC Jos over alleged criminal trespass against Chief Achi for threatening his life, properties at No 18/19 Rwang Pam street, Jos Plateau state.

 

The prosecutor told the court on 30th August 2020 while arraigning the culprits that one Tiamiyu Yusuf was reported to engaged Chief Achi Achijoke in verbal insult and attacking his personality.

 

However, on the same date while he was in front of “A” Division Police station in respect to the case he earlier reported to police, at about 5 pm -6 pm then one Abdul Basit Yusuf and two others accused came to him when Abdul told Achi Achijoke that:

 

“I will deal with you in this town, saying so you have the courage to report a case at the police station over a house that is not your own”, Abdul warns

 

After that insult, Abdul employed two other companions said that” first by one of them, your life is not safe in Jos anymore and the other one said, You are a dead man already except if you withdraw the case now”.

 

The statement was signed by C B.N Dalan Esq and Abdul immediately said,”You have been marked with all your properties “, You are finished; it’s you’re burial that is remaining now”.

 

The accused person counsel, Mrs. Olonokere was in court after they three pleaded not guilty for a one-count charge of trespass which brought was before the first information report ( F.I.R).

 

The case was adjourned to 16-09-2020 for hearing while the accused were admitted on bail on conditions of one surety who is resident within the jurisdiction with valid identity card with the sum of N50, 000.00 in like sum.
