2023 Owerri Zone Senate: Onyewuchi’s Endorsement A Ruse, Unacceptable, Says Chibuzom

A very strong, vibrant political activist and frontline youth leader in Owerri Zone, Comrade Joshua Chibuzom has condemned in totality the clandestine endorsement by some few people to give Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi, his second term ticket to aid his return to the red chamber.
According to him, the confidence vote by his aides given to a serving Senator of the zone running for an election in 2023, was to justify the gratification of the Senator to them.
Disclosing this on Tuesday to newsmen in Owerri, during a press chat, Comrade Chibuzom expressed dissatisfaction over the poor representation of Senator Onyewuchi at the Red Chamber.
He stated that no positive impact has been achieved since Senator Onyewuchi’s three years of representation as a Senator of the zone.
The youth leader recalled that Owerri zone has had men and women of integrity who have represented the zone, the likes of Senator Ama Iwuagwa of blessed memory, Senator Chris Anyanwu, those that distinguished themselves to the service of their constituents.
He asserted that come 2023 Senate election, Owerri zone would bring out their best for the position and not the likes of Senator Ezenwa Francis Onyewuchi again, but those who would contribute their quota and be a voice with the aim of bringing the desired dividends of democracy to their people.
The Mbaitoli born- political-activist, therefore, called on all political parties in the Owerri zone to shop for better choices from candidates from across their political parties for the replacement of the supposedly failed Owerri Zone, Ezenwa so as to bring back the lost glory of the zone.
