The Vanguard Group for credible Leadership has today drums support for Ambassador Khalid Arewa as Bauchi State governor come 2023.
Amb. Khalid Arewa is the gubernatorial candidate under the platform of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) in Bauchi State.
In a press conference at the ZLP party Secretariate on Sunday in Bauchi state, Comrade Adamu Idris described the flag-bearer that having experience and capacity to lead the good people of Bauchi State.
“ The vanguard for credible leadership group has members in each of the local governments in the State,” Idris said.
According to him, the members of the vanguard group include politicians, academia, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, and youths as well as notable personalities.
“Our assessment is based on nine criteria that include a proactive approach to security, infrastructures, water supply, healthcare, economic empowerment, education, Agriculture, Inclusive governance, and regional integration”, he said.
The groups called on their sons and daughters in the state, at home, and abroad to join hands with them to ensure the success of the governor in the forthcoming guber election.
While commending the flag-bearer for what they described as his remarkable and exemplary way of piloting the affairs of what he has held, the groups thanked the gubernatorial candidate for the compassion he has for people.
The group equally lauded the governor for his proactive approach and responses to security
matters which is responsible for the peace and security of lives and prosperity being enjoyed in the state.
The leader of the vanguard credible for leadership while advising the people against playing party politics above the interest of the state, urged the citizens to join hands with Arewa in his quest to restore the lost glory of Bauchi State.
Speaking during the party conference, Hajiya Hafsat Abdullahi said that Ambassador Khalid Arewa is the youngest among the gubernatorial candidate in Bauchi State and he has the quality to lead.
” We are ready to start mobilizing people about Ambassador Khalid Arewa” Hafsat.
” Is only Khalid Arewa that will change the structure of Bauchi State into new modern world”
