2023 Governorship Election: PDP Will Unseat Engr. Sule-Chairman

The Chairman of the opposition political party in Nasarawa state, the People’s Democratic Party, Honorable Francis Orogu has assured the broad-spectrum populace of the party that their party, the PDP would bounce back to the Shendam road Government House come May 29, 2023.

 

He stated this at Lion gate Hotel, Keffi the venue of the state congress of the party that ushered him the chance to lead the Affairs of the party for the second term.

 

Francis Orogu maintained that the opposition political party would take advantage of the weaknesses of Engineer Abdullahi Sule to reclaim its stolen mandate.

 

“With me at the threshold of power, Nasarawa PDP is in save hands and will spring surprise”.

 

The party chairman explained that he will implore any other means to unite the party following the outbreak of lacuna.

 

Doma Local Government chairman, Honorable Rabo Sani in his reaction described Orogu as a daydreamer for saying PDP would unseat governor Abdullahi Sule and Dr.Emmanuel Akabe come 2023.

 

“I think Francis Orogu is the joker of the year for saying his party which is already dead in the state of winning the governorship election”.

 

Sani disclosed that with the performance of governor Sule in office, the party should expect massive mass defection at both ward, Local Government level, and state party level.

 

“The defection of Hon. Anthony Obande, a former member of Nasarawa State House of Assembly under the banner of the PDP has tendered his membership card of the party to PDP executive at his ward is a litmus test to what will happen to the People’s Democratic Party.

 

He said is going to be a walkover in the year 2023 for PDP which he explained is drifting and lacking direction in the political space of Nasarawa State.

 

“Our party is expecting more supporters from the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP, PDP, APGA, and other parties”.

 

He called on party loyalists in the state to remain calm and resolute by supporting the party at all times.
