The candidate of the All-Progressives Congress APC in Bogoro state Assembly Hon. Bulus Iliya has said that the former speaker of the House of Representatives RT Hon.Yakubu Dogara remains the best candidate to deputise Ahmed Bola Tinubu the APC presidential candidate in the 2023 election.
Hon. Bulus Iliya said this in an interview with our correspondent in Bauchi on Friday, saying Rt Hon.Yakubu Dogara has all the qualities to deputise APC presidential candidate.
” Dogara is a bridge-builder who loves progress, compassionate and his love for humanity is unprecedented, Dogara has always enjoyed the trust and confidence of the people of his constituency Bogoro, Dass and Tafawa Balewa Federal constituency” Bulus.
He added that he informed that by his track record the 8th House of Reps Dogara is adequately qualified to deputize Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the vice president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
He added that Dogara as a member of the Federal House of Representatives and the speaker of the 8th Assembly from 2007 until he voluntarily stepped down, Dogara has the political experience, quality, skills and knowledge than any other possible choice currently.
” I so much believe that if Dogara will deputize Tinubu, he will use his experience gained during the speaker of the 8th assembly to bring Development to the Nigerians, because he is conversant with politics, tradition and culture, economic realities, and he will use his knowledge and experience of the region to partner with his president to bring evidence of democracy to Nigerians”.
Bulus said that with the experience that the APC presidential flag bearer has in the southern part of Nigeria and that Yakubu Dogara has in the Northern part of will utilize it for the good of Nigerians.
He further said that being Dogara as the vice president of Asiwaju will bring sources of joy to the Nigerians.
The APC Candidate also described Dogara as a symbol of unity, a peace builder, and a vibrant politician that always works for the interest of the Nigerians.
