…as Mbaike Union resolves to only vote APC, Buhari, Uzodinma
The entire people of Mbaitoli LGA and Ikeduru LGA who are politically known as MbaIke Federal Constituency under the aegis of “Mbaike Union” (political pressure group) in the Imo State through the Convener, Hon. Barr. Kingsley Ononuju, on Friday, Dec.28th 2019, in Owerri, shortly after their crucial meeting with all the leaders of the Union have collectively resolved to support and vote only for APC in the forthcoming polls.
In a resolution of their communique read, signed and released to newsmen,the Mbaike Union leadership resolved as follows that: “All the electorates in Mbaike land shall all vote in block for President Mohammadu Buhari, Sen.Hope Uzodinma as the next Imo Governor, and to ensure that all the Imo APC Candidates who have identified with the candidacy of Sen.Uzodinma in 2019.
That Mbaike people have shown a high level of their appreciation to the Imo APC Guber Flagbearer, Hope Uzodinma for choosing one of their highly respected and illustrious sons, Prof. Placid Njoku, from Ikeduru in Owerri zone as his Deputy.
That Mbaike with their voting strength of over 300,000 shall only support and vote for APC as the largest Federal Constituency in Nigeria.
That they are going to support/vote/protect their votes as part of upholding the Nigerian Project (APC/Buhari/Hope) Next Level in 2019.
And that the people of Mbaike and Imo people MUST be sensitized both home and abroad to go and obtain their PVC’s to vote for APC in 2019 using their electoral strategy, financially, morally and otherwise to ensure that APC under Sen.Uzodinma/President Buhari emerges victoriously in 2019″.
Responding, the Imo APC Guber Candidate, Sen. Hope Uzodinma, while speaking recognized Barr.Marcellinus Nlemigbo as the authentic Imo APC State Party Chairman, who is from Mbaike.
” I am touched because Mbaike people supported my candidacy by given one of their valued sons, Prof. Placid Njoku to me as my Running Mate, though he is not a core practicing politician rather a technocratic of repute”, Sen. Hope acknowledged.
” I took a high risk to arrest Gov.Rochas Okorocha and I reduced him in APC by pushing him out from corridors of power of our governorship ticket when he fought hell to make his son-in-law Governor by force. I was able to beat Rochas hands down with God and the Church”, says Hope.
He disclosed that he chose his Deputy because he also a Christian like him.
The Imo APC Guber standard bearer, Uzodinma said Gov.Rochas operated as Governor with Drivers Permit but that his leadership as Imo Governor is going to operate with Drivers License.
“APC is a National Party and we have come to rule Imo where Imolites shall be happy and suffering would be a thing of the past under his administration. God have heard the lamentation and cry of Imo people and he is going to answer our prayers. Okorocha did not behave like an original Imo man. He is a very greedy man. I stopped him because he is an idiot, a very selfish and hopeless fellow. He is an ungrateful man. He hates Imo people that were why he kept deaf ears making his amateur son in law a Governor, but it can not work Imo people are now wiser. The era of the imposition of candidates and impunity are gone in Imo”, he stated.
“On the Owerri Zone Agenda, I felt very worried about them but I know they were unfit to combat with Okorocha before and during the party primaries. God used me to cripple Rochas. I am the Hope of Imo in 2019. All we need now is to save Imolites from the bondage that Rochas has caused. Our Freedom has come with me as the next Imo Governor”, he boasted.
“If not God with me, Okorocha would cruise home with our ticket for his inlaw. Owerri zone Guber aspirants can not fight with Okorocha but I have the capacity and contacts that brought him down”, he revealed.
” I believed in the Owerri zone course to produce Imo Governor but all of them were unfit and they can not stop Rochas except me”, he maintained.
