2015: Plateau State Elders Call On Plateau People To Vote For APC By Yakubu Busari, Jos
Fresh consultation is underway in Plateau State to vote General Muhammadu Buhari as the president of Nigeria in 2015 general elections.
A group of stakeholders from the state in their meeting on Thursday night directed all eligible voters to vote out PDP.
Also on the Senatorial ambition of Gov.Jonah Jang, the people of Plateau state northern zone have concluded plan to support Eunice Ayisa Sambo for change.
For the election which is slated for February, the posters of Jang are yet to seen in most strategic locations within the state capital. Universalreporters247.com gathered from people interview expressed their worries that the state will be under the control of one family.
In a related development, the people of Plateau central and southern part in their zonal meeting held at the Rev. Selchang Maina’s House also called on their people to vote for All Progressives Congress in governorship and presidential election in February.
The group lamented that, since the governor had refused to go by the zoning arrangement so be it, we are also ready to use the votes of our people to express our mind.
According to the group, they said with the 53 ethnic nationalities in the State one tribe cannot continue to dominate, appointments in plateau state.
