2 Million Match For Peter Obi/Datti, Pastor Adukwu, Says Nigeria Shall Rise Again

Yakubu Busari

A Two-Million-man match of over 1,000 different campaign groups for Mr. Peter Obi /Datti was held on Saturday in Jos the Plateau State Capital.

The supporters who converged in earlier hours 8:30 am at the secretariat roundabout of the Labour Party candidate for the forthcoming general election in 2023 had to spring up surprises and threats to the opposition APC, and PDP with the mammoth crowd of different inscriptions.

The 2023 Presidential elections, witnessed groups of thousands of Christians and Muslim supporters who staged their solidarity rallies in support of the Labour Party, candidate Dr Peter Obi.

The rally, 2 Million March for Peter Obi,”, was aimed at mobilizing support for Obi candidacy to win the election and deliver the country from the problems of insecurity, banditry, kidnapping and herder/farmers clashes.

However, Obi is seen as a strong contestant in the presidential election against the candidates of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen Bola Tinubu and serial presidential aspirant, ex-vice President Atiku Abubakar.

The teeming youths who constitute the bulk of Nigeria’s voting population took to the streets of Jos, carrying banners and chanting songs amid heavy traffic.

According to them, Obi is the best presidential candidate for the 2023 election and so all Nigerians should vote for him to take back the country from the old breeds who have failed the country woefully.

The Plateau State Coordinator of Peter Obi Mass Movement, Evangelist Jacob Adukwu says, they’re canvassing for better leadership that can secure the future of our children.

He said, “I have personal contributions of medical equipment to aid people who are on this rally across the state to ensure that victory is achieved “.

We equally have structures across the 17 Local Government Councils including all the ethnic nationalities and both religions with like minds to reposition the state and Nigeria.

According to him, it is high time for us to take back what belongs to us because Nigerians are suffering in the mid of available resources that should have carter for our welfare all.

He stated; “our major issue is that we kept using religion to foment trouble and underdeveloped ourselves, I see a better Nigeria, I see a nation where everyone will work and enjoy the benefit of his labour under Dr Peter Obi /Datti stewardship.

Adukwu lamented that the problems of bad governance and poor leadership had affected the progress of our nation and I see the hand of God in Peter Obi to transform and be a pacesetter to Africa.
