Nasarawa Deputy Governor, Silas Agara was amongst the illustrious sons of Mada nation that attended mass burial of the 17 persons butchered by suspected herders in Numa community of Akwanga Local Government Area.
Agara who represented the State governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura assured the people that the perpetrators would be brought to book to face the full wrath of the law.
Also the Nasarawa State House of Assembly has condemned the recent killing of 17 persons in Numa village of Akwanga Local Government Area by unknown gunmen on Sunday.
The speaker, Balarabe Ibrahim behalf of the 24 lawmakers described the killings as barbaric anti People and unfortunate to the peace loving People of Akwanga.
Balarabe also sympathies with the Paramount ruler of Akwanga and Mada nation over the unfortunate acts.
He called on the people of the area especially the affected families and communities to live vengeance to God and allow the law to take its course.
He prayed God to expose the killers and the repose of the deceased souls.
