14 Ward Chairmen Of APC Urges Lalong To Conduct Election In Jos North Local Government Area

Fourteen ward chairmen of Jos North have appealed to Governor Simon Bako Lalong to Conduct Council election, it can be recall that almost Two years since primaries were conducted and winners emerged .

 

In a press statement jointly signed and made available to our correspondent in Jos ,the forum lauded the governor for his exemplary life styles of building grassroots politics .

 

The following ward chairmen’s Hon  Awwal Ahmad’s Aga ,Hon Sani Umar , Aliyu Umar Mainiya and Hashemu Inuwa including the 14 ward chairmen’s unambiguously appealed to their amiable people leader to consider the plight of people towards encouraging people oriented programs.

 

They Forum congratulated the governor for his recent elevation as the 19 Northern Governors Forum which is clear demonstration of committed leadership .

 

The statement reads,”we commend him for the developmental strife in the state and we want the entire state to benefit from the democratic system of governance across the 17 LGAs .

 

They congratulated him for clocking 100 days in office but reminded government on all inclusive government by conducting election and allow the winner to be return inspite of party different for the interest peaceful coexistence between Muslim and Christian .

 

According to the statement ,now that peace had return to the state ,we are calling on APC government at all level to promote democracy to function effectively .

 

They Forum congratulated Rt Hon Ibrahim Baba-Hassan for winning at the Plateau State Election tribunal including all those APC candidates emerged victorious as they Forum promised an unalloyed support to wheel building the grassroots politics in Plateau state .

 

However, the Jos North Ward Chairmen Forum of the All Progressive Congress ,APC, Spokesman Hon Umar Aliyu Mainiya  advised  that the Plateau State Governor should conduct election into  Jos North Local Government Council to usher new exco .

 

Hon Mainiyya ,the Chairman of  ,Naraguta ,B, speaking on behalf of 14 wards chairmen’s  thanks the party for providing them platform to promote the grassroots politics .

 

The All Progressives Congress in Jos North local Government  has constituted  it’s  special interim committee  successfully after two years of party inactivity in the state.

 

The state congress brought different factions of the party to elect their officials that would run the party towards the council  elections.

 

These galleried  politicians, stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress in Jos north  had  drew all the factions of the party that had made it’s presence in the political atmosphere in Plateau state inactive.

 

 

Their  relative peaceful committee  threw some hope of revival for the party in Plateau state and so the  members of the  party in the state feeling confident of good tidings come next council polls .
