Jimmy Cheto, Durfa, Hittler Dadi among 5000 PDP members That Decamped to APC in Plateau

Over 5,000 prominent sons and daughters of Langtang South Local Government Area of Plateau state including the immediate past gubernatorial candidate of PDP and the former CMD. Gwalgwalada General Hospital Abuja, Dr Nandul Durfa  on Tuesday denounced their membership from PDP and pitched tent with the All Progressive Congress (APC) .

At the grand rally held in Madubi, the headquarters of Langtang South local government, to mark the official flag-off campaign Langtang South constituency re-run election, the decampees said they have chosen to abandon PDP because of its imposition tendency and lack of internal Democracy.

Those who graced the occasion include Fanmak Enoch rep of the state chairman, Hon, Sargwak Wazhi APC Langtang South, Afiniki venmak state women leader, Hittler Dadi and Hamuza Pankwal.

Speaking separately, Engr Jimmy Cheto, Dr Nandul Durfa and Dr Hittler Dadi all decried that the PDP lack internal democracy and confidence that APC ideologies are more promising and have more convincing principle.

Dr Hittler Dadi stressed that PDP failed many Nigerians in the area of providing good governance and direct policy of building grassroots politics.

He assured the mammoth crowd of land slide victory in the Saturday rerun which Hon. Jackson Danladi   will win with wide margin because he is a candidate of the people of Langtang South stakeholders.

Dadi accused the PDP government of high level of impunity and corruption in the last 16 years.

However, Engr Jimmy Cheto explained the reason why they decided to decamp to the APC after the gubernatorial elections that witness massive frauds and irregularities by the leadership in the state.

According to him, the imposition of candidates was what people were witnessing under the past regime of former governor Jonah David Jang with lopsided appointment of the same ethnic nationality both at the state and national level.

Cheto noted further that the  All Progressive Congress (APC)  flag-off campaign for re-run of House of Assembly election attracted sons and daughters who came to be part of the change mantra in  Plateau State.

“You would recall that election tribunal sitting in Plateau state has ordered for the re-run of the PLHA owning to the allegations of financial misappropriation.

Most of the stakeholders’ interviewed bare their mind on APC plan to focus on the development of Plateau state and Nigeria where the issue of Boko Haram is gradually becoming the thing of the past.

“The people of Plateau south are now enjoying peaceful coexistence with their neighbouring communities, no more killing of one another people now travel without any attack”.

The house of Assembly candidate, Hon. Nicholas Vongsing urged the people to come out and vote for APC this Saturday for better Nigeria.

He commended President Buhari vision of transforming the country democracy to achieve meaningful development to the people.
