12 indigents of Doma Local Government Area of Nasarawa state who were killed by suspected Tiv Warriors in Taraba State were in the early hours of Saturday laid to rest. An eye witness and a survivor revealed that they were killed by people suspected to be Tiv militia a kilometer away from Takum, He said 8 persons survived the attack.

The killing was in relation to the ongoing communal crisis between Tiv/Jakun in Tabara state.

No fewer than 5000 sympathisers including the Andoma of Doma,Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah and the council chairman graced the funeral rite.

He appealed to youth to remain calm, Ahmadu Aliyu Ogah commensurate with the family of the decease to bear the lost.

Also speaking the executive chairman of Doma Local Government, Hon.Henry Omaku expressed worrisome over the gruesome massacre of twelve indigents of Doma.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the inability of the government of Taraba state to condole the people of Doma and Nasarawa state.

11 of the corpses were buried according to Islamic rite while one of them was buried according to Christian rite.
