100 Days:  NSHA Lawmaker Spring Surprises To Constituents, Distributes 4 Vehicles To Monarchs,12 Motorcycles,25 Mattresses

History was made in Doma South constituency of Doma Local Government Council of Nasarawa State as a current State lawmaker distributes 4 Vehicles to traditional rulers in the State.

The lawmaker elected under the auspices of the New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), Hon.Musa Ibrahim disclosed this at Agbashi playground.

The member also distributes 12 Jingcheng and Hunter motorcycles to party coordinators with 25 mattresses to security operatives.

The celebrant speaking shortly after the distribution explained that he gave employment to forty aides, whom he said are on his payroll.

“Today’s occasion is in fulfillment of my covenant with my constituents whom I promised to return to them 100 days in office to thank them for the favor they have done to me to represent them at the State Assembly He added.

‘The four 406 vehicles, twelve motorcycles, Twenty-five mattresses, and other commitments were not money from the House of Assembly but rather from my personal savings, So that I won’t be a cause for people to disturb their members.

The Speaker of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly Rt.Hon.Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi in his remark thanked the people of Doma South for voting for a dodged politician whose constituency is Ekye.

The Speaker was represented by the Majority leader, Hon.Adamu Mohammed Omadefu (APC) representing Keana constituency.

He averred that the four vehicles given to traditional rulers would go a long way in addressing the plight of the monarchs of Okpata Igbado,Olegagbogye, and Yelwa Ediya respectively.

The lawmaker representing Doma North constituency, Hon.Mohammad Adamu Oyanki (PDP) told the mammoth crowd that electing Hon.Musa Ibrahim, a member representing Doma South constituency was never an exercise in futility but rather a blessing in disguise.

He appealed to the People of Doma South constituency to allow their vote count by coming out en masse to vote the occupant of the seat ahead of the re-run election at Gidan Bassa community of Rukubi electoral ward

Another lawmaker at the occasion also includes Hon.Musa Gude, a member representing the Karshi/Uke constituency who congratulated the celebrant for recognizing his constituents within the shortest time he emerged as the representative of Doma South.

He Prayed for Hon.Musa Ibrahim to actualize his good dream by bringing succor to the people who stand firm against all odds to vote for a quality politician.

Some of the beneficiaries include the director of media to the Hon. member Peter Adole Joseph Abubakar, Bitrus Amos, Mohammed Yusuf, and others who benefited from the olive branches of Hon.Musa Ibrahim, The incumbent member Doma South constituency.

Hon.Musa in the 2023 election defeated the occupant of the seat under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Hon. John Osewu to emerge winner.

Recalled that the House of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal in its recent Judgement directed the Independent National Electoral Commission to conduct a re-run election at Gidan Bassa in Rukubi electoral ward.

The Honorable member when contacted by Journalists to comment on the court verdict remained mute on the issue, saying is on top of the situation.

Hon.Musa Ibrahim when asked on the slow pace of Idadu-Agbashi 23km road which was awarded on the 31st December 2021, did not make any policy statement but instead commended the Governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule.

Musa said the State Governor was instrumental in being where he is today as a lawmaker.

“Without mincing words, Abdullahi Sule was instrumental to my success, because I was appointed as Commissioner for Environment, The appointment gave me the leverage to showcase my potential and today I’m occupying an exalted position as a member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly”.
