Youth Group Endorses Hirse for Governor By Yakubu Busari,Jos

The Concerned Plateau Youth Vanguard, a non governmental body has disclosed that Plateau state has an alternative in

Ambassador Bagudu Hirse for governor in 2015.The body stated in a press release made available to newsman in Jos, the state capital that the worry over a choice for governor in next year election hs been doused.

In the release signed by James Jiwa, Daniel Sule and Nyop C. Dachollom , state coordinator, secretary and ex-officio member respectively, they noted that the state is too big for a few individuals to think they can manipulate.

According to them, “we  congratulate our amiable Ambassador Bagudu M. Hirse for emerging the sole candidate of the friendly Labour Party, LP, in Plateau state.”For this feat, we are proud to state that Plateau state electorates and our teeming population will now have an alternative to what the PDP is imposing on the people who have for long, been yearning for good governance and fairness”. They make bold to state further that the choice of Ambassador Hirse, by an “accommodative” LP was indeed, a welcome development as this would provide the state and its peace loving populace the opportunity to reap from the benefits that are associated with democracy.

The release accused the PDP led government of trying to deny the state of a fair and credible transition, warning that it’s no one birth right to occupy the office of governor.“For the avoidance of doubt, Ambassador Hirse has a track record that is insurmountable in the history of not only Plateau, but Nigeria as a whole.

“We are again, happy that added to his wealth of experience in party politics, he has also made his mark on the sand of time as an astute administrator in public service, where majority of our people would testify to his selfless service as a federal commissioner.

“The Youth Vanguard wishes to assure us all that a vote for Bagudu Hirse and LP is a support for fairness, development and fear of God, which human existence is dependent upon” they stressed.
