A group, Hausa Singers Association has vowed to see to the voting out of the All Progressive Congress, APC-led administration during the 2019 elections, DAILY POST reports.
Bauchi state Secretary of association, Danjuma Hassan Isa, told DAILY POST in an exclusive interview that the APC under Governor Abubakar is a waste of mandate.
He stated that the association will soon commence a tour of all the 20 local government areas to sensitise voters not to vote for the APC, ahead of the 2019 elections.
Isa claimed that the APC under Abubakar is clueless to the extent that it has failed to live up to expectations in tandem with its so-called Change mantra.
Recall that some hoodlums had attacked about nine members of the association while in a meeting in Bauchi, yet government was yet to publicly condemn the act even as the culprits still walk freely on the street.
Isa said, “We have put in place all arrangement to proceed on tour of the whole state to create public awareness as to why APC should be voted out in Bauchi state come 2019.”
The association stressed that it will not leave any stone unturned in its resolve to uproot the APC during the elections, basing their reason on the absence of development in the state.
The secretary criticized the policy of Abubakar towards youths empowerment, stating that unemployment has ravaged the society under APC.
According to him, the association will not be intimidated by the agents of government in their genuine commitment for survival.
He called on the people of Bauchi to ignore all efforts made by the Abubakar administration for the re-election of the APC in 2019.
