With the intensive electioneering campaign toward 2023 in Plateau State ,a worldwide security expert Hon .Solomon Nandy Chendan has picked the African Democratic Congress, ADC, assuring of his determinations to salvage the state and reposition security challenges and tackle poverty, and unemployment.
Addressing the party faithful after the unanimous decision taken for his official affirmation by the delegates across the 17 LGAs at Kalwa House on Saturday, Solomon Nandy promised to be a servant leader if elected as the governor of Plateau State in the forthcoming general elections.
He said the vision and mission of the campaign team are to encourage oneness and improve the welfare of the citizenry.
Chendan emphasized that one of the solid agendas for the people of Plateau state was transforming and repositioning the state as one of the commercial hubs of Nigeria.
He noted that was burnt out of his desire for the compassion of his commitment to leadership as security experts guard and safeguard the lives and properties of citizens.
Nandy stressed that if given this mandate he wants to ensure that peace reigns in Plateau and he will restore the lost glory of the state where Muslims and Christians will come as one.
According to him, Plateau state belongs to all of us, is not about me, neither about Caleb Mutfwang , APC , PDP but is our projects for Plateau is your state is my state so we must work hard to improve the economic well-being of our people.
He stated that the time has come to address numerous challenges facing us by putting them behind us a forge ahead and Plateau must rise again and shine.
Solomon solicited the cooperation of voters to vote wisely for him as his votes will achieve success.
He assured me of going to be a servant that will have listening ears to the plight of Plateau people especially herders /farmers clashes with the help of modern gadgets.
The Chairman of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Hon Sam Pam Gyang also presented 24 candidates for the Plateau State House of Assembly,3 senatorial and 7 house of representatives as the flag bearer of ADC in Plateau.
He appreciated the party’s loyal men and women who stood for the party in it a trial moment but stressed that they are going to be stronger and united to win the race.
Gyang in his speech described the party as the most popular and acceptable in the history of grassroots mobilizers in all the senatorial districts.
He disclosed that the affirmation was done in an agreement reached with stakeholders which were adopted before INEC officials.
Sam Gyang called on the Plateau electorate to vote for the party that goes with people-oriented programs and projects that can impact on lives of people.
