The Commissioner of Works and Transport, Plateau State Hon .Pam Dongs has pledged his commitment to five pillars Policy of Lalong’s government.

Dongs accused the immediate past government for lack of democracy in the selection of Commissioners but lauds Lalong on grassroots policy of allowing the people to submit the names of those with integrity and credibility.

He solicited the cooperation of the staff of the ministry so that he will use his wealth of experience to transform the every sector of the state.

According to him, development is measure by the positive human development, stressing that the worst building you can see standing is that of government structure.

He appealed that government should respect maintenance culture of our roads from the stage of deplorable level of causing accident and loss of lives, adding ,”if we allow our deplorable roads many Nigerian will died an road accidents  .

It’s shameful that Nigeria petroleum cannot effectively provide qualitative social amenities to carter for the wellbeing of its citizenry, he added.

He noted that the issue of godfatherism is finish, I want everybody to ensure punctual and respect his or her work, those that do substandard work will face the law .

The Permanent Secretary Engr. Sunday Hyat expressed confidence that the ministry will now focus on road and bridges which is the prime target of them.

In his handing over, Hyat said about 28 uncompleted roads litters across the state and that they are worth 9 billion naira with 182 staff and 3 consultants.
