Woman Arrested With Thumb Printed Ballot Papers In Favor of APC Nabbed by Army In Lafia

An Unidentified woman was today arrested by Nigeria Army at Police Barrack Polling Unit 026 opposite the personal House of governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura with over 100 thumb printed ballot papers in favor of the ruling All Progressives Congress.

It was learnt that the presiding officer, Abdullahi Muhammed handed the ballot papers to the woman who was later nabbed in the process of running away to unknown place apparently to be thumb printed and was apprehended by soldiers.

The polling Unit 026 it was gathered was marred by Irregularities and molestation of voters, this ugly incident happened a few minutes after all the security agencies left the place.

The happening in governorship and House of Assembly elections continued to raise dust as APC supporters were seen at the venue resisting an attempt to sort out ballot papers.

There was also low turnout in St Williams and Bukan Sidi primary school, Lafia.
