Winners Of AUTHENTIC News Daily 2016 Awards Emerge

After they were duly nominated and voted for via mail and SMS, winners of the prestigious annual AUTHENTIC News Daily Awards have emerged.

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar beat other keen contenders, ex President Goodluck Jonathan and President Muhammadu Buhari to the 2016 AUTHENTIC Man of the Year Awards.

Atiku polled 54,063 votes against 31,347 and 32,892 votes polled respectively by contenders.

For the Politician Of  The Year Award, Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki with 29, 675 votes beat fellow Senators, David Mark (25,987) a former Senate President and Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, former Kano State Governor, who polled 23,654 votes.

Nominees were published on www.authenticnewsdaily.com  in November 2016 and interested voters supported their choice.
