The Ngwa Ishi of Taroh Jenta Adamu ward in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state has installed William Nimbut Nimmyel as new Ponzhi Taroh .
Chief Williams Nimmyel Nimbut was born to the family of Mr. Ladan Nimbut on the 1st January,1960 in the Bwarat district of Langtang North’s LGA.
He attended LEA Primary school Pil-gani from 1975-1980 ,he took an appointment with first Bank on the 18th May,1984 and retired from the Bank to join the Nigerian Police force as a security man .
The late Nanyah Ventur Ponzhi Tarok died in 2012 after a protracted sickness and the selection of Nimbut Nimmyel came as a result of hardwork , dedication and discipline .
The Ngwa Ishi O’ Taroh Jenta Adamu association with the development of the Taroh people expressed commitment to , His Royal highness’s Chief Williams .N.Nimbut who is married and was blessed with three children;Emmanuel Nanjul Nimbut ,Paul Nanman Nimbut and Joy femicit Nimbut.
The son ,Mr Emmanuel Nanjul Nimbut said “I really appreciate God for my Dad and the family members who have put in all their effort for the success of this coronation .He added that ,my father is a peace loving man with love from all sons and daughters of Taroh nation sky is the limit .
We pray that God should give him the grace to promote Taroh culture in Jenta Adamu and the entire Ngwa Ishi Otaroh as a whole .
We pray that God should grant him long life and prosperity .
Selbol Domyil said ‘ we are looking forward that the Ponzhi Taroh can advance the course of promoting discipline and peaceful coexistence in Plateau state and Nigeria.
Domyil prayed for the end of insecurity in the country so that Nigeria will have a smooth transition in next year general elections .
He urged Taroh people to continue promoting relationship with their neighboring Local Governments.
Pius Bayo Magaji pointed that the people of Taroh should rally support by giving him maximum cooperation most especially those in Jos .
He called on Taroh to respect and help him strengthen his leadership style by so doing the spirit of Emancipator will be restored.
Magaji appealed that the ponzhi should remained a mentor to the younger generation.
