The Paramount ruler of Mama Community in Wamba Local Government of Nasarawa state was poisoned to death by his wife on Saturday.
The community leader, Alhaji Zubairu Adamu (second class chief) met his premature death following his plan to take another wife, The monarch who passed to the great beyond.
It was learnt was poisoned by his jealous wife who was seriously against the plan of the paramount ruler to add another wife.
Alhaji.Zubairu Adamu died after taking a meal prepared by his wife, it was reliably gathered that his jealous wife was against the plan wedding.
It was reliably gathered that the traditional ruler passed through pains and agony before he finally died.
The second class chief has since been buried according to Islamic rite in his country home of Mama, Wamba Local Government.
