Why Our Community Raised Endowment Funds For Less Privilege, Orphans -Hon Simon Ahile

Member representing, Rukuba/Irigwe constituency at the Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon.Simon Kudu Ahile has pledged his support to the people of his constituency especially in the provision of education, good roads network and employment opportunity to teeming populace.

He pointed out that, “Today is kitche Day being the annual celebration of Bache as a people. I am a Bache man, I feel highly delighted for the cultural celebration because it is a unique one for the fact that I am attending it as an honourable member for the first time.

We did not have it since 2015, 2016 till today in 2017 that is when we are holding it again, I am being regarded as the chief host, and I feel happy with the caliber of dignitaries that graced this occasion and those who showcased their talents in the area of cultural troupes from various parts of the state.

I thank the planning committee for bringing out our cultural artifacts for people to see the uniqueness of our culture. This cultural event will bring unity among us and I pray for the continuity of such amazing gesture.

“Bassa as a Local Government has more than 50 ethnics group and I want to call on Bass as a people to encourage the young ones  by engaging them in speaking to them through languages’ so as to foster unity among us.

He stressed that, he has gone a long way in supporting the Bache sons and daughters of Bassa to different institutions of higher learning such as the Plateau State  polytechnic, College of Education and the Universities as well as soliciting that they should be given employment even as assistant lecturer in order to inculcate the upcoming generation into the system .

Ahile pledged that the endowment fund raised will look at critical areas and support the children of less privilege including orphans with requisite qualification to further their educational pursuit.
