Why Nasarawa Assembly Walked Out Varsity Vc

It was a show of shame for the Vice Chancellor of the Nasarawa State University Keffi, Professor Muhammed Mainoma as the members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly ordered security agents in the red chamber of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly to whisk away the embattled Vice Chancellor who was in the black book of the Assembly.

The lawmakers were divided following the observation made and raised by the Speaker; Honourable Ibrahim Balarabe ordering the exit of the Vice Chancellor who was having a running battle with the lawmakers, the cacophony was quelled with the intervention of the Deputy Speaker, Honourable Godiya Akwashiki.

It would be recalled that the House of Assembly members are at loggerhead with the estranged Vice Chancellor Professor Mainoma who has since been suspended by the lawmakers.

As at press time the Speaker drew the attention of the chief protocol officer of the Nasarawa state Government House to evict professor Mainoma from the red chamber who is an invited guest of the governor.
