All Progressive Congress (APC) alliance group under the aegis of Good Governance in Bauchi state says they will only vote for credible candidates from any political party in the state just as they called on APC presidential candidate. Mohammadu Buhari to reverse his campaign slogan of voting for APC at all levels (APC Sak)
Addressing Journalists in Bauchi the Chairman and the Secretary of the group, Sabiu Ismail and Nura Zungur said “we will only vote for credible candidates in the from any political party in the state.
He explained that some of the APC candidates in Bauchi state are not qualify both in professional and experience.
He said ” we have resolved to only support and vote for experience and qualify candidates that will develop the state for instance the PDP senatorial candidate in Bauchi South Mallam Isa Yuguda who has served as Ministers two times and governor of Bauchi state for 8 years is more qualify than the Bauchi South APC Senatorial candidate, Mallam Ali wakili.
Responding the Bauchi South senatorial candidate, under APC Mallam Ali Wakili described the group as misguided and fun seeking political group doing the bidding’s of their masters who are aggrieved because they lost the primary election.
He said “it’s unfortunate that their brothers and sisters that contested for APC primaries lost. Most especially their mentor, the former Minister of Police Affairs, Yakubu Lame who lost to get the gubernatorial ticket for APC so as a backlash on Mallam Ali Wakili, they felt that with the architect of the failure is to indulge in anti party activity. It is sad for them to indulge in such shameful ventures if they claim they are members of APC .
“I am still watching the situation, at the appropriate time I can take legal action on them because politics do not give them the leverage to go about scandalizing my name, it’s sad because I am not suppose to join issues with them because by their education and exposure, they are only touts so I want to assure you that they cannot do anything and they cannot influence anything.
