Association of All Progressive Congress (APC )residents in the plateau state known as Urban Rural Poverty Eradication Nationwide (APCURPEN) has set to eradicate poverty among the people of Nigeria who have been affected by the scourge
The group made this declaration yesterday in a press statement signed by its Public Relation Officer (PRO), Saddiq Agamah Sumlelep in Jos.
According to the released, the aim of the programme is to boosting campaign for poverty eradication in Urban and Rural Communities in the 774 local governments areas in Nigeria, adding that the body would establish local offices in all the LGAs in the country.
It also emphasized that the victims of Boko Haram insurgency who are local farmers and have been displayed from their houses would considered more to help them get out of their current situation, explaining that all registered members of APCCURPEN shall benefit from the poverty eradication loan scheme to enable the engage in business.
The anti poverty crusade which has headquarter along Federal Secretariat in Jos, the state capital, has since been registered with a view to support the implementation of the policy on National Poverty Eradication Program (NAPEP) fight poverty in the country.
