We Have Seen People Killed At Night, But They Only Link Them To Fulani Being The Killers, Advocates For Dialogue To Fish Out Culprits- Miyetti Allah Plateau Chapter Chairman

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, an association of Fulani herders across the globe, Plateau State Chapter, Chairman Alh Isa Adam Bappa has advocated for community surveillance and interfaith dialogue in the state to fish out bad eggs amongst residents.

 

Alhaji Bappa gave this advice during an interactive session held at Old Bukuru Park, Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau state.

 

He urged Governor Simon Bako Lalong to give their national president audience to end the problems associated with farmers, herder’s clashes affecting communities.

 

Bappa advised the governor to ensure that his administration organizes contain meetings all the tribal, religious, and head of communities to bring an end to the killings of innocent citizens by suspected criminal elements perpetuating this heinous crime against their fellow human beings.

 

Ardo Bappa lamented the loss of morality in the society today where people commit any criminal act and go free without any arrest, we have seen people massacre, maimed in the night but they only link them to Fulani and nobody was arrested.

 

He called on Nigeria security agencies to live up to their national calls of maintaining the security architecture of safeguarding the lives and properties of vulnerable communities.

 

“We have the responsibility as parents to foster unity and progress of our society today but were the enemies of togetherness now penetrated us, they scuttle our peaceful coexistence either as political thugs “, he noted.

 

“We see a group of terrors in every tribe, religious who parade around to cause disaffection by inciting hatred, religious differences, and ethnic agenda,” he caution.

 

In Plateau state, the Fulani and the other ethnic tribes have been living together peacefully, we intermarriage but what is happening today is blackmail, bad leadership, and lack of love.
