As the APC caucus meeting held at the Jigawa government got wider coverage on how prominent a politician was absent at that meeting, the State APC chairman has debunked the story, saying all that was published was not true.
Alhaji Umar Muhd Guri who is the APC chairman in the state said the story is not true even as he confirmed that the Senator was absent but added that the Senator sent his representative.
He explained further that their meeting was not an elders’ meeting but it was a meeting for the APC executive and members of the party all in a bid to discuss the way forward.
On the issue of former APC Chairman said he has been completely dismissed from his position but said he is still a member of the party.
He said he it was in connection with a financial scam.
He said on several occasion the chairman he informed the executives that he received orders from above that he was asked to withdraw money for different activities however, in the end, he diverts the money.
