Channels Television’s correspondent, Nneota Egbe, joined the Special force on a visit to some of the villages in Borno State, Northeast Nigeria, which were worst hit by the extremist group, Boko Haram and the camps of the insurgents.

Kirenowa village, which was liberated by the army on 16 May, hosted about five militant camps.
Shocking revelation emerged as Channels Television zooms it’s camera on the area previously occupied by members of the Boko Haram sect as items discovered in the camp included packs of unused condoms.

This video confirms the statement credited to the Director, Defence Information, Brig-General Chris Olukolade who said “more of the dirty sides of the insurgents’ life style are being revealed as troops continue to stumble on strange and bizarre objects such as several used and unused condoms as well as charms of various shapes seen in the captured terrorists’ camps.

“Other common items are syringes, test tubes and hand gloves usually found in the rubbles of most of the destroyed camps.”
