Wase LGA Deputy Chairman Nantip Padur Congratulates PDP  Peaceful Zonal Congress In Plateau, Elects New Leaders

Plateau State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party ,(PDP) has suffered  unending leadership crisis, Nigeria’s main opposition political parties, were Labour Party (,LP) All Progressives Congress, APC, enjoyed the representation of the state at the hallowed chambers.

The Deputy Chairman of Wase Local Government Council of Plateau state the Former State Youth Leader, Hon.Nantip Padur congratulated the family of PDP for their hitch-free exercise on Saturday, successfully held its North Central zonal Congress in what is seen as a significant milestone in the party’s preparations for the National Convention.

The event, which took place at the Langfield Little Rayfield Jos and was attended by a multitude of delegates from the North Central sub-region, with campaign posters littering the venue of the Congress.

Nantip Padur disclosed that the Congress was witnessed by notable figures, led by Tanimu Turaki, SAN, and were PDP NWC disowns the factional North-Central zonal congress

Hon .Nantip also congratulated Prof.Mary Lar for clocking 90th anniversary celebration the mother and the wife of the second republic of Late Solomon Daushep Lar.

Padur praised the success of the congress, stating that it was a testament to the party’s unity and strength.

He emphasized that similar congresses would be held in all zones across the country, leading up to the national convention.

The Deputy Chairman expressed appreciation to Plateau delegates for their resilience and commitment to the party at the state level.

The PDP’s North-Central zonal Congress was part of the party’s broader efforts to reorganize and strengthen its structures ahead of the national convention.

The party has released a timetable for the 2025 zonal congresses, which includes the election of new zonal working committees and national ex-officio members.

According to him, Plateau state remains a stronghold for the PDP, as lauded Governor Caleb Mutfwang for infrastructural development and giant strides in the state.
