Former Military President Genaral Muhammdu Buhari has advised Nigerians to desist from money politics so as to forge ahead to ensure a change of leadership in the country, adding that if Nigerians did not bring change by themselves, the level of insecurity will be worse up to the level that we could not recognised ourselves.
General Buhari stated this in Dutse shortly after commissioning the governorship campaign office in Dutse Alhaji Faruq Adamu Birnin Kudu who is among the gubernatorial aspirant who wanted to contest for governorship under the APC, Buhari charged delegates and people of Jigawa State to vote for the right candidate that will protect their image come 2015.
Buhari also urged Nigerians to sweep out the PDP party from power to save Nigerian and the country from collapse.
Buhari added that from 1999 to date Nigerians are suffering power failure despite the millions of Naira sunk into that sector and yet Nigerians are sleeping under darkness due to the incapability of the federal government to give stable power to the people.
In his speech the chairman of the party in the state, Alhaji Ado Sani Kiri said they are always loyal to the party leaders and the aspirants, he also therefore urged party supporters to give all their support to whosoever is chosen to be their candidate in the governorship and other positions to enable.
Explaining further, he said that Jigawa State is Buhari state because Jigawa people always cast their votes for whenever elections is taking place in the country, as he said that all the aspiring candidates are united and that anyone chooses for the office of the governor others will support him for the election.
