It was a monumental loss to the people of Kanam Local Government Area and the Plateau state citizens, as Christian and Muslim gathered to mourn the paramount ruler in Jhar community.

The former Commissioner for Education and now the Executive deputy Secretary of Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), Hon Idris Yakubu Gambo tasked politicians to emulate the teaching of peaceful coexistence and tolerance to one another.

The former commissioner during the military governor of Plateau State, Col Habibu Idris Shaibu Rtd said their late father; Alh Gambo Nirim Hassan was the Uban doma za’am died at age of 98 years.

He expressed happiness that their late father left them a great legacy of peace, love and transparency.

Late Alh .Gambo N Hassan left behind 20 children and many great grandchildren with four Wives, 10 men, 10 females and has been buried according to Islamic rite.

Dr Yakubu Gambo who spoke on behalf of the family said Baba wisdom and contributions will be greatly missed by the members of the family.

He described his demise as a colossal lost to them and the community because he was an honest man who always preaches togetherness between Muslim and Christian to coexist peacefully with one another in the area of peace building and mutual respect for one another.

According to him, the late Gambo Hassan hate cheating with passion as he trained them to live an  exemplary live of conduct of providing to the less privilege ones among us without discrimination.

Dr. Gambo urged other believers to emulate the personality of building bridges of love and understanding of each other religious and remain committed to the teaching of their forefathers.

Dr. Yakubu Gambo said, his father left behind a message of cultural integration, respect and self-reliance for the complete teaching of Islam.
